The PureWax Dark Purple Cutting Foam Pad is a sharp, coarse foam pad built to remove scratches, sanding marks and oxidation quickly. Because it's foam rather than fibre, it leaves a cleaner finish than a wool pad, so there's less refining work afterwards. At 5", it gives you good control on curves and smaller panels.

A cutting compound such as 3D ACA 500 or 3D ACA 510, or the all-in-one 3D ONE.

How to use

1. Prime: spread a small amount of compound across the pad face.
2. Test spot: check the cut on a small section first.
3. Cut: work small sections with slow, overlapping passes and moderate pressure.
4. Clean the pad: brush or blow it out every section or two.
5. Refine: follow with a light purple polishing pad.

Pad care: wash after use with warm water and a pad cleaner, or use the Lake Country System 4000 pad washer. Air-dry face down.
