Description
The fastest way to remove serious paint defects.
For sanding marks, deep swirls, scratches, oxidation and water spot etching, nothing removes defects faster than a wool pad on a rotary polisher. The PureWax AAT White Lambswool Heavy Cutting Pad is 100% lambswool. Its fibres act as abrasives in their own right, so together with the abrasives in your compound you've got two types of cut working on the paint. A rotary's direct drive means the pad never stalls, so you get maximum correction speed.

Important
Wool cuts aggressively and leaves some haze and marring, so always follow with a foam polishing step. Rotary polishing takes practice. If you're using a DA, choose the PureWax Blue & White Heavy Cut Wool Pad instead.

A cutting compound such as 3D ACA 500 or 3D ACA 510.
How to use
- Prime: brush the fibres up and work a small amount of compound into the face.
- Start slow: spread at low speed with the pad flat, then increase.
- Cut: keep the machine moving, work small sections, and watch the heat on edges.
- Clean the pad: spur or brush the fibres every section or two.
- Refine: follow with a light purple polishing pad and a finishing polish.
Pad care: wash with warm water and a pad cleaner, or use the Lake Country System 4000, then air-dry face down and brush the fibres up.
