Description
Clean pads in seconds, without leaving the job.
Clogged pads cut less, finish worse and get thrown out sooner, and cleaning them by hand halfway through a correction slows you down. The Lake Country System 4000 is a self-contained pad washer that cleans wool, foam and microfibre pads right on your polisher in seconds. Its Pure Flo® Technology keeps clean and dirty solution separate, so your pads are always washed with the cleanest water.
Pure Flo® Technology
Pure Flo® keeps your cleaning solution and contaminated water in separate basins. Dirty solution drains away from the clean supply, so every pad you wash is cleaned with fresh solution, not recycled grime.
What's new in the System 4000
- Pure Flo® Technology: separate basins for clean and dirty solution
- Improved carry handle: better balance when moving the unit
- Redesigned wash plate: more durable, with new sealing technology
- Improved pump: no pressure loss and fewer clogs
- Modified open top: less splash and spray while cleaning
How it works
- Fill: fill the pail with clean water to the level you want and add your pad cleaning solution. Lake Country recommends one packet of Snappy-Clean Boost powder.
- Insert: open the covers and insert the dirty pad, still attached to your polisher.
- Wash: run the polisher while pressing repeatedly on the wash plate. Each press pumps cleaning solution from the bottom of the pail into the pad, and the polisher agitates it clean. You control how much solution goes in.
- Drain: dirty solution and contaminants drain into the catch basin.
- Spin dry: lift the pad and spin it dry inside the unit to finish the cycle.
Three operating modes
| Mode | How it works |
|---|---|
| Filtered | Solution is continuously recycled through a replaceable 10 micron filter at the bottom of the catch basin, then drains back into the pail for repeated cleaning. |
| Captured | No filter is used. Fill the pail to the bottom of the catch basin (about 6 L), close the basin drains, and discard the dirty solution when the basin is full. |
| Standard | Remove the catch basin and use the full pail until the solution needs replacing. |

FAQs
What pads can I clean?
Wool, foam and microfibre pads.
Do I need to remove the pad from my polisher?
No. You clean it while it's attached, using the polisher to agitate and spin it dry.
How often should I change the solution?
It depends on the mode. In filtered mode, the solution is recycled through the filter. In captured mode, discard it when the catch basin is full.
