Ceramic protection for metal.
Polished wheels, chrome trim and stainless fittings look amazing when they're clean, but brake dust, road grime and moisture dull them fast and start corrosion. Osren Coatz 02 Absolute Metal Coating is an SiO₂ ceramic coating made specifically for metal. It cures into a hard, glass-like layer that brightens the metal, repels water and dirt, and helps protect against corrosion, so wheels and trims stay cleaner and brighter for longer.

Preparation
A coating locks in the surface as it is, so prep is everything:
- Clean: wash the metal and remove iron contamination, for example with Phoenix The Furies or Car Candy Eliminator.
- Polish if needed: remove oxidation and tarnish with a metal polish like 3D Metal Polish.
- Wipe down: remove all polish oils and residue with a panel wipe so the coating can bond.
Application
Follow the instructions supplied with the product. As a general guide for ceramic coatings:
- Work on cool, dry metal, out of direct sunlight, wearing nitrile gloves such as Grip-X.
- Apply a thin, even layer to a small area at a time.
- Level and remove residue with clean edgeless coating cloths like our Pearl Knit Coating Removal Cloths.
- Keep the coated surfaces dry while the coating cures.

Can I use it on painted wheels?
It's formulated for metal surfaces. For painted or powder-coated wheels, check the product instructions or use a paint coating.
Will it make my wheels easier to clean?
Yes. Its hydrophobic finish helps brake dust and grime release more easily when you wash.
Do I need to polish first?
If the metal is oxidised or tarnished, yes. The coating protects the surface as it is.
