Description
Built for the final wipe of a ceramic coating.
The levelling wipe is where a coating job is won or lost. Leave residue behind and you get high spots. Use the wrong towel and you risk marring, lint or fibres in a fresh coating. These Korean edgeless pearl knit cloths are made specifically for removing and levelling ceramic coatings, with the precision and consistency professional detailers need.
Precision warp-knitted
The cloths are produced on Karl Mayer warp knitting machinery, industrial equipment that precisely controls how each fibre is looped, tensioned and locked into the fabric. The result is a consistent pile height, excellent dimensional stability and a tightly locked weave that's designed to minimise loose fibres in a fresh coating.
350 GSM pearl knit
The 350 GSM pearl knit, made from a 70/30 polyester-polyamide blend, is plush enough to lift and trap excess coating without dragging across the paint. That's critical when you're working with fast-flashing ceramics or tight levelling windows.
Edgeless for curves and edges
The edgeless construction removes stitched edges that can mar the paint, so you can work panel edges, body lines and curves with confidence.
Dedicated colour
Mint green is reserved for coating removal, so these cloths don't get mixed in with your wash, polish or interior towels, and there's no risk of cross-contamination.

How to use
- Fold: fold the cloth into quarters for multiple clean faces.
- Level: once the coating has flashed, gently wipe with the first face to level it.
- Buff: flip to a fresh face for the final buff and check for high spots under good light.
- Refresh often: swap to a new cloth once all its faces are loaded with coating.
Pro tips
- Use each cloth on a few panels at most: loaded cloths smear rather than level.
- Keep them for coatings only.
- Single-use is safest for coatings: cured coating residue doesn't wash out fully. Reuse spent cloths for jambs, wheels or interiors.
FAQs
Can I use them for other jobs?
They're designed for coating removal. Once used for coatings, retire them to non-paint jobs.
Will they leave lint?
The warp-knitted construction is designed to minimise loose fibres. Shake out each cloth before first use.
How many do I need for a full car?
Typically 6–10, depending on the coating and the size of the vehicle. A 20 pack covers a couple of full coatings.
