Description

DA safety for the small, awkward panels.

Pillars, mirrors, bumper corners, spoilers and headlights are hard to polish with a full-size machine and slow to do by hand. The Maxshine M312 is a compact 3" dual action polisher with a 12 mm orbit, so you get the safety and ease of a DA with the size to reach tight spots. It's also ideal for applying polishes, waxes and sealants to small areas.

Key features

  • 550 W motor: plenty of power for a compact machine
  • 12 mm orbit: effective correction with DA safety
  • 3" (75 mm) backing plate: reaches tight and curved areas
  • 6-speed dial: from spreading product to full correction
  • NSK bearings: smooth, durable operation
  • Non-slip rubber grip and a U-type handle
  • 4 m heavy-duty cable

How to use

  1. Fit a pad: attach a 3" to 3.5" pad to the backing plate.
  2. Prime the pad: apply a few small drops of compound or polish.
  3. Start on the paint: place the pad flat on the panel before switching on, and spread at a low speed.
  4. Polish: increase the speed and work small sections with slow, overlapping passes.
  5. Wipe and inspect: remove the residue and check under good light.
