Before polishing or applying a ceramic coating, the paint needs to be completely bare. Old wax, sealants, road film and embedded grime all have to go, or they'll clog your pads and stop a coating bonding. Car Candy Destroyer is a professional-grade decontamination wash concentrate that strips it all away in one step, while you wash.

A high-strength blend of detergents and degreasers penetrates and lifts heavy road grime, old wax, sealants and embedded contamination from paint, glass and chrome. It rinses clean with no residue or streaking, leaving the surface bare and ready for the next step.

Use Destroyer as the first step before claying, polishing or coating. A properly stripped surface means your polish works on the paint, not the old protection, and your coating bonds the way it should.

How to use

1. Mix: add about 60 mL of Destroyer per 10 L of water (around 120 mL per 20 L), or load your foam cannon.
2. Pre-rinse: rinse the vehicle thoroughly with water.
3. Wash: apply with a clean wash mitt or sponge, or foam the car with a foam cannon. Work in the shade, top-down.
4. Don't let it dry: keep panels wet, and rinse each section before the soap dries.
5. Rinse: rinse the vehicle thoroughly.
6. Dry: dry with a plush microfibre drying towel or a car dryer for a spot-free finish.

The full decontamination process

1. Strip: wash with Destroyer to remove wax, sealant and grime.
2. Iron decon: remove embedded iron fallout with Car Candy Eliminator.
3. Clay: remove remaining bonded contamination using Car Candy Blue Lustre clay lubricant.
4. Correct and protect: polish as needed, then apply a sealant or coating such as Car Candy Graphene Carbon Coat.

Important

• Do not apply to hot surfaces.
• Do not let it dry on the surface.
• It removes wax and sealants: re-protect the paint afterwards with a wax, sealant or ceramic coating.

Will it remove my wax?
Yes, that's what it's designed to do. Re-apply your protection afterwards.

Can I use it for regular washes?
It's designed for decontamination and prep, not routine maintenance. For regular washes on protected paint, use a pH-neutral shampoo like CandyCoat Revive.

Can I use it on a ceramic-coated car?
Use it only when you intend to deep clean or prep for a new coating. For routine washing of coated cars, use a pH-neutral shampoo.
