Most finishing pads refine the gloss but leave light defects behind. The Pad King Gold is a finishing pad that Pad King says has twice the cutting power of a conventional finishing pad. It removes fine defects and light to medium swirls while still finishing down to ultra-high gloss, so it can often replace a separate polishing step.

How to use

1. Prime: spread a small amount of finishing polish across the face.
2. Spread at low speed, then increase.
3. Polish: use light pressure and slow, overlapping passes.
4. Wipe and inspect: remove the residue and check under good light.

Pad care: clean the pad face during use, and wash it after the job with a pad cleaner or the Lake Country System 4000.
