Description
Dissolve hard water spots by hand.
Water spots form when water evaporates and leaves its minerals behind. Left to bake in the sun, those minerals crystallise into hard deposits that a normal wash won't touch. Osren 05X Hard Water Stain Remover is a heavy-duty, ready-to-use formula that dissolves hardened mineral build-up on paint and glass, often without needing to machine compound.

Common causes of water spots
- Sprinklers and reticulation

- Washing or rinsing in direct sun

How to use
- Prep: wash the car and work on cool panels in the shade.
- Apply: put 05X on a damp microfibre cloth.
- Wipe: work it over the affected area and buff evenly until the water spots start to fade.
- Rinse: rinse the area thoroughly with water.
- Protect: re-apply protection, for example Gtechniq C2, to help stop new spots bonding.
Important
- Avoid the windscreen. For windscreen water spots and wiper haze, use a dedicated glass polish like 3D Glass Polish.
- Don't let it dry on the surface. Work a small area at a time and rinse promptly.
- Test first on a small, hidden area.

FAQs
Will it remove every water spot?
It dissolves mineral deposits sitting on the surface. Spots that have etched into the paint need machine polishing.
Why not on the windscreen?
Osren advises against it. Use a dedicated glass polish for windscreens instead.
Do I need to dilute it?
No. It's ready to use.
