Bare aluminium that's gone cloudy, chalky or stained doesn't need hours of polishing. Aluma Brite 2 is a ready-to-use, acid-based brightener that cuts through oxidation, rust staining and salt corrosion to quickly restore a bright, clean finish. There's no mixing required, so just spray, agitate and rinse.

Ready to use, or stretch it further

Use it straight from the bottle for heavier oxidation. For lighter jobs, dilute it 2:1 with water so the bottle goes even further.

How to use

1. Prep: work on a cool surface, out of direct sunlight.
2. Test: try a small, inconspicuous area first.
3. Apply: use it straight, or dilute 2:1 with water for light oxidation. Spray from the bottom of the panel upwards to prevent streaking.
4. Agitate: brush any stubborn areas if needed. Don't let the product dry on the surface.
5. Rinse: rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.

Important: surface and safety

• Do not use on glass, polished aluminium or anodised surfaces.
• Keep it off paintwork and trim, and rinse off any overspray immediately.
• Never let it dry on the surface, because drying can cause staining.
• Wear gloves and eye protection when handling, as it's an acid-based product.
• Never mix it with other chemicals.
• Read the label and safety data sheet before use.

Aluma Brite 2 or Aluma Brite 1?

For everyday cleaning of painted, clear-coated or chrome wheels, use a non-acid cleaner like Car Candy Burst instead.

FAQs

Do I need to dilute it?
No. It's ready to use. For light oxidation, you can dilute it 2:1 with water to make it go further.

Can I use it on polished or chrome wheels?
No. Don't use it on polished aluminium, anodised surfaces or glass.

Why spray from the bottom up?
Spraying from the bottom up prevents the product running down dry metal and leaving streaks.
