The Vonixx Heavy Decontamination Carpet Block gives you a firm, abrasive carpet surface to work a glass decontamination product into the glass by hand, removing heavy mineral marks and light to moderate scratches without needing a machine polisher. This pack contains three blocks.

Why a carpet block?

The firm block and carpet face give you strong, even pressure and real cutting action on glass. That's far more effective than a sponge or towel for stubborn marks, and you don't need a polisher or any experience with machine work.

How to use

1. Clean: wash the glass and remove loose dirt.
2. Protect surroundings: mask rubber seals, trim and nearby paintwork.
3. Apply product: put a small amount of a glass water-spot remover or glass polish, such as Vonixx Prizm or Vonixx OPTY, onto the block.
4. Work it in: rub over a small section with firm, overlapping strokes.
5. Wipe and check: remove the residue with a clean microfibre towel and inspect under good light. Repeat on stubborn marks.
6. Protect: finish with a glass coating or rain repellent to keep it clear for longer.

Pro tips

• Glass only: the carpet face is abrasive, so keep it off paint, plastics and trim.
• Keep it wet: don't work the block dry on the glass.
• Rinse the block after use and let it air-dry.
• Deep scratches: scratches that catch a fingernail may need machine polishing or professional repair.
