Polishing makes the paint look its best, but without protection that finish soon dulls under sun, grime and road film. Menzerna Power Lock is Menzerna's first true synthetic polymer sealant. It bonds to the paint as a thin, invisible protective layer that adds a deep, wet-look gloss and helps keep contaminants off, so your car stays shinier and is easier to clean between washes.

How to use

1. Prep: wash, decontaminate and dry the paint. For best results, polish first with a filler-free polish like Menzerna Medium Cut 2400.
2. Apply: put a small amount on a foam applicator pad, or on a soft finishing pad such as the Lake Country SDO Black on a DA at low speed.
3. Spread thinly: work it over one panel at a time in a thin, even layer.
4. Let it bond: leave it for a few minutes.
5. Buff: remove the residue with a clean microfibre towel for a deep, glossy finish.

Pro tips

• Thin is better: a thin coat bonds better and buffs off more easily than a heavy one.
• Apply to bare paint: sealants bond best when there's no wax or glaze underneath, so don't apply it over a wax.
• Keep it dry: avoid rain and washing for 24 hours after application.
• Maintain it: wash with a pH-neutral shampoo like CandyCoat Revive to make the protection last.
