Maxshine's "The Tank" is a massive 1600 GSM twisted loop drying towel built to soak up the lot. It's big and absorbent enough to dry a full SUV, ute or 4WD in one pass, so you're done before the water has a chance to spot.

1600 GSM, dual-sided twisted loop

Each side has dense, ultra-fine twisted loop microfibre, for 1600 GSM in total. Twisted loops pull water off the paint fast and hold a huge amount before needing to be wrung out. Because both sides work, you can flip the towel and keep going.

Concealed, sewn edges mean there's no hard border dragging across the paint, reducing the risk of marring while you dry.

How to use

1. Prime the towel: before using it on paint, dampen it by drying the windscreen and glass first. A slightly damp twisted loop towel absorbs faster.
2. Lay and drag: lay the towel flat on the panel and gently drag it towards you. Let its weight do the work, with no pressure.
3. Work top-down: roof and glass first, then bonnet, boot and sides.
4. Flip as needed: turn to the dry side as the first side fills.
5. Finish: wring out lightly if needed, and do the lower panels last.

Pro tips

• Use a drying aid: mist a drying aid like Gtechniq C2 onto wet panels for extra slickness and protection as you dry.
• Blow out the gaps first: a touchless dryer like the BigBoi BlowR Mini clears mirrors, badges and grilles so they don't drip after you've finished.
• Keep it clean: never use a dropped towel on paint. Wash it first.

Care

• Wash separately from other laundry with a microfibre detergent like Car Candy Citra Suds.
• No fabric softener, which clogs the loops and kills absorbency.
• Air-dry, or tumble dry on low heat.
