Paint protection film and vinyl wraps protect your paint, but the film itself can stain, yellow and hold onto dirt over time. Gtechniq HALOv2 is a flexible film coating designed specifically for PPF and vinyl. It chemically bonds to the film to form an ultra-dense, flexible protective layer, keeping the film cleaner, easier to maintain and looking better for longer.

Protects the film

HALOv2's dense, low-surface-energy layer improves dirt and water repellency, helps prevent staining from dirt working into the film, and reduces yellowing caused by UV. Gtechniq rates it to last up to 2 years.

The original HALO needed two layers. HALOv2 needs just one, saving time and effort without compromising protection.

How to apply

1. Work indoors: the vehicle must be indoors during application and stay indoors for at least 12 hours afterwards. Good lighting is essential.
2. Prep existing film: wash and decontaminate with a citrus all-purpose cleaner and an iron fallout remover.
3. Wipe down: with the surface fully cooled, spray a 30% IPA dilution onto a microfibre cloth and buff the film to remove fingerprints and residue. This maximises bonding.
4. Load the applicator: shake the bottle well, wear gloves, and apply HALOv2 evenly to the AP2 applicator.
5. Apply: use overlapping strokes over an area of about 60 × 60 cm, or work to the body lines.
6. Remove residue: after each panel, wipe off the residue with a clean microfibre cloth, working from the outside in, beyond the area you coated.
7. Inspect: check under bright, diffused light to make sure no residue remains.

Storage

• Unopened shelf life is 12 months.
• Use within 3 months of opening, with the original cap fitted.
• Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
