Description
Rotary-like cut, dual-action control.
The Dynabrade DB8A is a Renny Doyle Series gear-driven dual-action polisher, built for professional paint correction. Unlike a free-spinning DA, which can slow or stall under pressure, a gear-driven machine forces the pad to keep rotating. That gives you cutting power closer to a rotary, while the dual-action motion keeps it far more forgiving and helps produce a refined finish.
Forced rotation for faster correction
Gear-driven forced rotation keeps the pad turning on curves, edges and under heavier pressure, so it keeps cutting where a free-spinning DA might stall. That makes it especially effective for heavy correction.
6.8 mm throw
The compact 6.8 mm orbit targets defects quickly, reduces vibration and lets you work safely in tighter areas without the machine stalling.
Designed around the user
Professional detailer Renny Doyle focused on ergonomics in the design. The machine has low vibration, a tactile grip, dual rubber supports, an extended handle and a low-profile, precision-balanced body weighing just 2.5 kg. It's comfortable and controlled through long correction sessions.

FAQs
Is it good for beginners?
It's more forgiving than a rotary, but its stronger cut suits detailers with some polishing experience.
What pads does it take?
It comes with 5" and 6" backing plates, which suit standard hook-and-loop pads of about 5.5" and 6.5".
Can it finish as well as cut?
Yes. Drop the speed and switch to a finishing pad and polish for a refined, high-gloss result.
