Vintex Alumax

Alumax - Heavy-Duty Acidic Descaler

Deep cleaning and decontamination for heavily soiled metal surfaces.

Alumax is a concentrated acidic descaler for jobs where conventional cleaners struggle. It breaks down stubborn grime, oxidation and ingrained build-up on aluminium wheels, chassis, engine bays, stainless steel and metal equipment, restoring metal to a clean, bright condition ready for polishing or protection.

Key features

• Heavy-duty acidic formula: removes stubborn grime, oxidation and surface build-up quickly
• Concentrated and economical: dilutes from 1:5 to 1:20, so one bottle goes a long way
• Versatile: suits wheels, chassis, engines, aluminium trunks and stainless steel
• Professional grade: built for workshops, detailers and industrial use

Dilution guide

• Heavy cleaning (oxidation, heavy grime): 1:5
• Medium cleaning: 1:10
• Light cleaning and maintenance: 1:20

How to use

1. Dilute to the ratio that suits the job. 1:10 is a good starting point.
2. Make sure the surface is cool and out of direct sun.
3. Apply evenly using an acid-resistant sprayer.
4. Leave to work for 1–2 minutes. Do not allow it to dry on the surface.
5. Rinse thoroughly with water to remove all residue.

Safety

• Wear chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection.
• Test on a small, hidden area first.
• Not suitable for painted, clear-coated, powder-coated, chrome or anodised surfaces.
• Avoid contact with paint and glass. If overspray lands there, rinse it off immediately.
• Keep out of reach of children.
